Description

The Italian family-run business Pasta di Borgo Pace, located in the middle of the Alpe della Luna massif near Tuscany, has created a recipe for traditional spaghetti for us. With over 20 years of experience, Italy's finest gourmets and bakers know that it doesn't take much to make perfect homemade pasta - just crystal clear water, sunshine and the finest durum wheat.

Our peppery spaghetti starts by being slowly dried at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees for 20 hours, which is how it achieves the ideal length. Thanks to special ventilation systems, it is also wonderfully elastic, which has a major influence on its quality. A thick, floured surface is a typical feature of high-quality, homemade pasta. This allows each strand of spaghetti to perfectly absorb any sauce you cook it in.

Hard wheat - semolina - is a typical product of Italy, which at home is known as yellow gold. Thanks to gentle grinding on the stone, it has preserved the wheat germ, which is a rich source of protein. All this combined with our pepper makes this pasta so perfectly delicious

.pepper..spaghetti is already complexly flavoured. It will taste best on its own, or simply with parmesan cheese or a light sauce. It will also be great with fresh tomatoes and fresh herbs, or as a side dish with meat dishes. Always cook to taste, as the Italians say - al dente!  

The recommended cooking time for pasta is 9-10 minutes. Cook in salted water.
