The unique climate in Kampot, which prevails from January to April, gives rise not only to the best pepper in the world, but also to an absolutely exceptional and delicate salt flower, whose harvesting technique in Cambodia follows the traditional and gentle hand-picking from the surface of the salt flats. 100% natural, snowy, transparent sea salt crystals that are sun-dried and also contain approximately 70 rich minerals and a minimum of sodium chloride. We have also managed to establish a fair partnership with the community of small families who harvest the salt flower on a small farm in Kampot - so we are again supporting specific families and delivering the finest flower salt directly from the plantation to your table in exceptional quality and purity. This community has been collecting for 3 generations and is committed to helping and employing women in particular. The salt is harvested in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way that is sensitive to the surrounding landscape, making it a great complement to any of our Kampot peppers - not only in taste, but also in principle.
